Why Bright Start Connect

Early childhood is a magical time when kids are learning and growing quickly. Before the age of five, their brains are developing at lightning speed, shaping how they think, feel, and interact with the world. Giving young children the right support early on helps them reach their full potential.

One way we do this is by supporting the people who care for them—parents and caregivers. We understand that caregivers come in all forms, including grandparents, other family members, and foster parents. When caregivers have the tools and knowledge they need, they can create a loving and safe environment for children to thrive.

Bright Start Connect is made possible through a Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health) grant, funded by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). 

About FLIPA

Forward Leading IPA is a nonprofit member association of safety net providers working in partnership to provide the highest quality healthcare to the most vulnerable populations in Upstate NY since 2017. FLIPA is transforming healthcare delivery by connecting community health centers, behavioral health organizations, and community-based organizations to develop innovative solutions to drive successful outcomes.
