Welcome to Bright Start Connect by FLIPA! We're here to help infants and young children grow and thrive by supporting their parents, caregivers, and the professionals who assist their families. Bright Start Connect offers free resources and services to ensure every child gets the best start in life. Based in Upstate New York, our goal is to support families and caregivers every step of the way.

  

Support for Every Step of Your Child's Growth

For Caregivers

If you need extra help, we offer online resources, training, virtual and live groups for parents and one-on-one sessions with psychologists. Our resources, tools, and expert information are here to support you as you raise your child. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or guardian, we provide the guidance and support you need.

 

For Professionals

We also support professionals like doctors, social workers, day care providers and teachers by sharing the latest research and best practices to effectively support families.

Bright Start Connect focuses on four key goals

Resources

Share resources with families and professionals on infant and early childhood mental health practices, prevention, positive behavior strategies, support, and consultation. Our goal is to provide comprehensive information that everyone can use to foster healthy development in children.

Screening

Increase access to screening to identify needs early on. By making screening tools readily available, we help ensure that children receive the support they need as soon as possible, addressing any potential issues before they become more significant challenges.

Education

Improve education for primary care, early education and childcare providers.

Partnerships

Establish multi-level behavioral health supports and increase access to services through partnerships and simple referral systems. By working together with other organizations, we ensure that families can easily connect with the resources and services they need.
